Elixir Games and Square Enix Join Forces to Boost web3 Gaming
The leading web3 game launcher and video game giant partner to drive mass adoption during 2023
Madrid 20th March 2023. Elixir Games has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Square Enix focused on creating a major impact in the visibility and adoption of web3 gaming among traditional gamers.
Since 2021, the Elixir Platform has been the leading distributor of web3 games. And, since its recent integration of Epic Games, Elixir has factored in traditional game distribution and become the leading distribution platform with the most available web2 and web3 desktop titles.
Square Enix was among the first top publishers to announce their interest in web3 gaming, and has since been active in investments in and partnerships with key companies and infrastructures in the space.
The new agreement between Elixir Games and Square Enix will allow millions of traditional gamers to explore quality web3 games free from tech-based barriers, and enjoy pure gaming entertainment with augmented interaction and mobility potential thanks to an underlying, decentralized nature.
Square Enix, who together with Sino Global Capital co-led Elixir Games’ last fundraising round in December 2022, has put in place a strong web3 gaming investment strategy, with a belief that blockchain games will transition to a new stage of growth in 2023.
